Our Praise Ministry Department is composed of members that take part in dance and drill to edify the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Each year these teams participate in the National Baptist Sunday School and Baptist Training Union Congress. The Congress is a nomadic Christian education institute, which was founded in 1906, designed for church leaders and workers throughout the nation. Each year churches that or a member of this organization meet in a particular city to fellowship and display different skills that they have acquired over the year. Skills such as dance, drill, speaking, bible recollection and more. Churches congregate from all over these United States, each year the meeting is held in a different city.

Mt. Canaan participates not only in the National congress, but also in State and local competitions. Our teams always come home winners. The pictures below display only a few captions of our performances.
