Young People’s Organization

The Mount Canaan Young People’s Organization consist of youth ages 4 to 18 that meet on Saturday of each week. In the meetings the children are taught from the Word of God, they have choir rehearsals, and they are trained to deliver a subject matter or bible story before an audience. Lessons on church ethics are also part of the curriculum, as well as, usher training. The department has ten sponsors, five parent volunteers, a director and an assistant director. All of which work toward our mission of creating children filled with the Holy Spirit.
